Spirited Away is our design proposal for a competition located in Istanbul, Turkey. The main goal is to envision the architecture for a tree house as well as the urban life embedded within the existing forested area.

Floating above the ground and freely hanging on the pine trees, the treehouses provide a harmonious adventure that feels like home where nature is your only neighbourhood.

We designed three types of treehouses: the camper’s house (single), the spirit box (doubles) and the base camp (groups), all scattered in the upper area of the forest where serenity is found.
